Multi-collagen
Let's first explain what collagen is. Collagen is a substance in the body. The body exists approximately 30% from collagen. It is a kind of adhesive that holds everything together. The skin even consists of 70% collagen.
Bone broth.
It is possible to get collagen through food. An important source of Collagen is bone broth, perhaps better known as bone broth. This is broth drawn from bones, which have to pull for 24 to 72 hours on a low heat. It can be made from, among other things chicken breast bone, fish bones or beef bones. Each type of bone provides a different composition of the collagen. It is easier to buy multi-collagen powder with 5 types of collagen; type 1, 2, 3, 5 and 10.
There are approximately 14 variants of collagen, which are indicated in types.
Type I and V are most common in our body in the joints, the ligaments, also called called ligaments, such as, for example, the knee straps. The connective tissue around the joints, tendons, blood vessels and in the skin.
Type II and X are most common in the ribs, cartilage and intervertebral discs. These are the flexible elements of the spine. Cartilage protein, consists of 55% collagen.
Type III is found in the dermis, which is the dermis, the bone marrow and is present in the joint fluid between joints, which is used to move bones and joints smoothly takes care. These different types of collagen come from different sources.
Type I collagen is made from, among other things, beef skin and fish bones. It is also possible to, such as aforementioned, to make the bones of cows, but this is not possible in connection with BSE done more in laboratories.
Type II collagen is made from chicken breast bone, among other things.
Type III collagen supplement is made from, among other things, the skin or bones of fish.
Type V and X collagen is made from eggshell membrane. This is the membrane on the inside of a chicken egg.

Multi collagen powder has been on sale in the Netherlands since August 2019 from Happy-Older. It is offered in bags of 600 grams, good for 60 days of use.
